using iPads in schools

GHS has just purchased 1 iPAD for the Library Resource Centre & 1 for Language Support.  The students have been using them at recess & lunchtime in the library. Most are happy to experiment with book creator and a range of education games (word games etc). Other students have been using the iPad as an ereader and requested several books to be added. I put the movie 'Tomorrow When the War Began' and the text on the ipad. Students have been completing projects as part of the Year 8 English program. It has been great to see them flicking from the movie to the book and then completing the tasks.
